It's not "super-sweet-cut corn," it's "super-sweet cut-corn." In other words, it's cut corn that is super sweet. :) There's no way that I know of to cut corn in a sweet way.

I find your vblog very interesting. I'm a foodie hailing from Cerritos, CA ... and I'm always in search of interesting food to eat in the local area. I have eaten Ethiopian food, and I have eaten at a strictly Vegan restaurant before (Native Foods in Westwood), and yet I'm a meat eater (Filipino-Chinese with a mom who LOVES to cook), and I can understand your plight hehe.

Keep it up though. It looks like you've been busy ... hopefully more videos will be coming soon. :)

as a vegetarian who likes a lot of vegan fare, i'll admit i don't even eat these. like carl, i'll gladly send along recipes if you're cooking stuff here and there. i won't pretend all vegan food is yummy, but i think some of it can be really great if you just don't expect it to be the same. did you consult with vegan friends before you started, or did i miss that explanation? i may have. anyway, even though i've been vegetarian for way more than half my young life (since i was about 12, totally of my own accord), i'll admit i even still miss bacon. i just like our animal friends more. so it goes. keep it up :)

Hi, I just stumbled across your project on youtube and wanted to wish you luck and hope that you stick with it permanently! I think you'll come to enjoy the abundance and healthiness of veganism. people are strange...i see nothing wrong with meat subs. dead flesh seems more icky to me. Besides, its all about the sauces...I don't know any omnivores who would just boil a chicken and eat it...no, they flavor it with stuff! duh! If you need food ideas, check out my blog http://luminousvegans.blogspot.com/. I have a link to a bunch of other vegan food blogs on there too that may also give you more foodie ideas. Also, I'm part Cambodian too, so I understand how "difficult" being vegan can be around meat-centered folk...that is why its always good to have a vegan support group :-) Anyways, I look forward to more of your adventures. AFter I watched your Ethiopian food video, I am craving it!

people are crazy.
Vegan riblets are excellent.
you realize that the meat isnt that important.
it's just the taste of the BBQ sauce plus the "texture" of meat which is easy to counterfeit.

i love real meat BBQ, but lots of alternatives since meat 3 times a day is stupid.

I think the corn has molasses on it.

If you try to have meat meals with meat substitute you will get pissed right quick. Try something else. I will send you a recipe or two for something you would not expect to find meat in.

Have fun. I hope this diet helps you poop better. More fiber, just not more muscle fiber.
